This extension of the agreement brings Sony Pictures’ titles to 39 territories throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Warner Bros. Discovery today announced a multi-year extension of their content deal across Latin America. Under the agreement, feature films from the Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) slate after their theatrical and home entertainment windows and selected television series from SPT will be available exclusively on HBO Max (and subsequently on Max, when the enhanced platform launches in Latin America later this year), HBO premium channels and Cinemax throughout the region.

The deal will bring some of Sony Pictures’ feature films to HBO and HBO Max subscribers including films in the Spider-Man, Ghostbusters, Jumanji and Men In Black franchises. The agreement includes the highly anticipated: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Gran Turismo, Equalizer 3, the next instalment of the Ghostbusters franchise, and the next feature films in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (including Kraven the Hunter, El Muerto and Madame Web), after their theatrical and home entertainment windows.
