During 2023, Squirrel Media will increase turnover by 67%, EBITDA by 77% (€24.314M), and net profit by 279% (€17.602M), according to the accounts presented by the company to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, with numbers that are above those recorded in 2022.

The company, chaired by Pablo Pereiro Lage, consolidates its position among the major global entertainment groups. As for operating revenues, in 2023, they reached €131,944M, 67% more than the previous year and a positive difference of €52.813M.

Capital expenditure (capex) grew by 4% last year to €21,328M compared to €20,553M in 2022.

“Squirrel Media has experienced strong organic and inorganic growth as a result of the investments made and planned in the business plan, confirming the projections made by the company,” said Squirrel’s president, Pablo Pereiro Lage.

Expansion and internationalization

Among other outstanding operations in fiscal year 2023 are the acquisition of the distribution group BF Distribution, a leader in Latin America, and the incorporation of the production companies Grupo Ganga and Mondo TV.

Squirrel Media will present its new 2024-2025 Business Plan on Monday, March 4. The roadmap will show the continuity of organic growth in its four main business areas: Advertising, Content, Network, and TMT.
