The contemporary dystopic thriller will be available on the streaming platform for Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Latin America.

Starz’ premium streaming service, Starzplay, acquired the contemporary dystopic thriller The Feed from all3media international.

The series will be available for Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Latin America.

With this addition, the platform grows its catalog of acquired series, which includes The Act, Das Boot, Mr Mercedes, Pennyworth and more.

“At Starzplay, we strive to deliver outstanding programming that captivates and excites our global audiences,” said Superna Kalle, Executive Vice President of International Digital Networks for Starz.

The Feed is a perfect example of the type of content we are looking for and we are pleased to have all3media as a partner to achieve our goal.”

Stephen Driscoll, Executive Vice President, EMEA for all3media International, added: “We are delighted that Starzplay has acquired this excellent series to lead its channel by establishing the Starzplay brand in Europe, and we share their confidence that The Feed will become a series that will captivate and delight audiences throughout the region.”

Produced by Studio Lambert and directed by Carl Tibbetts, The Feed is a ten-hour drama series written by Channing Powell and based on the novel by Nick Clark Windo. Amazon (USA), Liberty Global and all3media International produce the show with Studio Lambert.

The cast includes Guy Burnet (Counterpart) and Nina Toussaint-White (Bodyguard) and also features the star talents of Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones), and David Thewlis (Fargo).

In the near future, people’s brains connect directly to The Feed, a software implant that is equivalent to an improved smartphone. Every interaction, every emotion, every memory can be shared instantly.

Tom and Kate, a solid couple, are trying to resist their addiction to The Feed. Tom’s father invented The Feed, but Tom fears it, especially when he finds out about his father’s plans to expand the software.

Then, something, or someone, begins to access people’s minds through The Feed and “direct them.” The loved ones of these people wake up like someone else, someone who wants to kill them.
