Atrapa a un ladrón, Viacom’s anticipated series based on the Alfred Hitchcock classic, will premiere on Argentine broadcast TV on October 2.

Atrapa a un ladrón finally has a premiere date on Telefe: Wednesday, October 2 at 11:15pm.

The 10-episode series, co-produced by Viacom International Studios Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa and VIS America, will finally make its debut on Argentine TV following its premiere in Italy and Spain on Paramount Network.

In addition, the day after its premiere on Telefe, all episodes will be available on demand via Cablevision Flow.

The series is the TV adaptation of Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief, created by Spanish showrunner Javier Olivares, known for series like Isabel and The Ministry of Time.

It tells the story of Juan Robles, aka El Gato (Pablo Echarri) a former thief who tries to unmask a mysterious new character who steals his identity to commit crimes. His love story with his police inspector wife, Lola Garay, adds more suspense to the story.

The series was filmed in Barcelona, Blanes and Tossa de Mar, as well as in Buenos Aires.
