ViX announced today new original productions that will be part of the service’s content offering. ViX’s new titles include:

MOVIES

INTERCAMBIADAS (comedy) – After arguing with his mother, Sebastian (9) wishes that Lupe, the maid, was his mother… and his wish… comes true! Paola and Lupe undergo a body swap that will force them to assume each other’s role. Lupe that of a top executive in a marketing agency with a very important project in hand and Paola that of a domestic worker in her own home. As they search for a way to return to their bodies, the two will experience enormous challenges and learn a lot about each other and themselves. Lupe will gain the confidence she needs to dare to let a new love into her life and Paola will discover that the most important project in her life is her children, and that with so much work she had forgotten about her home. MI CASA NO ES TU CASA (comedy) – Andres and Mia are completely in love, the only problem is that Mia has two sons, Facu (12) and Santi (8), who hate this new relationship. Everything gets complicated when Andres moves in with them. Faced with this, the children join forces and will do the impossible to get rid of their mother’s new boyfriend and make it very clear that “my house is not your house.” Production: Nectar Films, Marvista, Cimarron. CHIQUIS UNFILTERED: As never before, Chiquis will open her heart and reveal her most intimate story. We will learn in depth all about her past, touching on painful topics that she had wanted to keep silent about. She will also share the most exciting moments of her career to date. Each episode will have a lot of fun, tears and strong emotions of her day-to-day life. We will see Chiquis unfiltered from her home in Los Angeles and every step of her U.S. and Mexico tour, her family time, and the thousands of things she has to deal with every day that no one imagines, including how she deals with family conflicts and the challenges of being the older sister. In addition, this docuseries will show step by step all the preparations for her wedding and the final episode will reveal how Chiquis fulfills two important goals in her personal life and professional career. MI MUNDO – MI MUNDO will authentically portray a never-before-seen aspect of regional Mexican music, a music genre that is sweeping the global charts, breaking new ground, and representing the culture and legacy that unites fans on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. The series will showcase the unique off-stage lifestyle, creative process and behind-the-scenes careers of the most prominent figures of this musical movement that is making history and conquering new markets. LAURA BOZZO: DEL INFIERNO A LAS ESTRELLAS – This documentary tells the untold story of one of the most controversial hosts in Latin American television of the last three decades. This ViX Original production offers exclusive access to Laura Bozzo, her intimacy, her secrets, and her current life, as well as personal archive material and all the figures that have been part of her career since her beginnings. LAURA BOZZO: DEL INFIERNO A LAS ESTRELLAS will offer an in-depth look at the TV host’s scandals, successes, and failures and will detail revealing events about her life, her love affairs, and her ties to power, fame, and money. TOROS NEZA (sports documentary) – A unique sports docuseries about one of the teams that changed the history of Mexican soccer during the 90s. Against all odds, a cheeky, fun and rebellious team makes it to the Grand Final of the championship and, in the process, wins the love of an entire country: Toros Neza. Their hair is painted in rainbow colors, they take the field wearing Spiderman, Salinas and Chupacabras masks or hats, as if they were a band of outlaws. They either win by a landslide, or they end up getting thrashed, there is no in-between. Toros understood that glory is not measured in titles and left its trail of soccer and revolution. Perhaps that is why they are the only uncrowned champion in Mexican soccer.
