With four top-line titles leading the way, All3Media International is participating in MipCancun 2023, which is taking place at the Moon Palace Resort Hotel in the Mexican city, from November 14 to 17.

“We come with an offer of scripted, formats, entertainment… A little bit of everything, always different, for the different screens of the Latin American market,” explained Yari Torres, VP for Latin America at All3media International.

The executive, who considered that the current edition of MipCancun has been a “very vibrant and very dynamic market,” shared details of its main titles.

“Speaking of on scripted, we have two very strong titles this year,” she went on to detail: “Keep It Up is the story of how viagra was discovered and the marketing behind it. It’s super interesting; we also have Dead in the Water, which is the story of a couple who went to Latin America and the Caribbean on vacation and disappeared, and how their sister managed to discover the truth.”

Keep It Up is the astonishing untold story of the creation, promotion and exploitation of viagra, the little blue pill that launched a sexual revolution 25 years ago. Told with intelligence, curiosity and a strong dose of humor, this documentary explores the extraordinary story of viagra’s global journey, from Wales to New York and its unstoppable rise from failed heart drug to pharmaceutical and cultural phenomenon.

Dead in the Water tells the tragic story of what happened to Chris Farmer and his girlfriend Peta Frampton, who in 1978 were found floating off the coast of Guatemala. They had been tortured, tied up and loaded with engine parts. In a final letter to their loved ones, they wrote that they would sail to Honduras with an American and his two children. A gripping global story about the search for a brutal killer, from the creators of Don’t F**k with Cats and The Tinder Swindler.

“In dramas we have two very strong titles,” she continued: “One is called Boat Story, in which two strangers meet on the beach and discover a crime on a boat. They find a million in drugs and make the decision to try to convert them into money, because both, despite coming from different backgrounds, are in a difficult economic situation.”

Boat Story is a high-octane thriller about two strangers who discover a shipment of drugs on a secluded beach and decide that it could change their lives. Their world spirals out of control when a violent gangster chases them. Can they trust each other and get their way (and the money)?

“The next hit of 2024 is called Captivated“, she affirmed. “It is the story of a single mother who works as a cleaning girl and meets a millionaire who seems to be very interested in her. She doesn’t know if he is too good to be true or if there is a genuine interest in her. It’s something we’ll have to discover.”.

Captivated is a gripping thriller about a young mother and her son on the run from a wealthy businessman who will stop at nothing to find them.
