The production companies Brutal Media and Fabula have reached an agreement to adapt the novel Los crímenes del glaciar, by Cristian Perfumo, to the screen, an addictive thriller that will take the reader from the streets of Barcelona to an inhospitable and remote glacier in Patagonia. Scenic Rights has been the agency that has managed the license for this adaptation.
Los crímenes del glaciar: a plot that captivates from the first moment
It all begins with a shocking discovery: the body of a tourist appears frozen in the largest glacier in Patagonia. The victim, murdered thirty years ago with a shot in the stomach, is the starting point of an intrigue that completely changes the life of Julián, a Barcelona native who discovers dark family secrets after the death of an uncle he had never heard of. .
Named the sole heir to a mysterious property in El Chaltén, an idyllic Patagonian village, Julián travels with the intention of selling it. However, the questions he raises trigger a series of dangerous events that confront him with a past full of secrets and a killer willing to do anything to protect the truth.
The Glacier Murders transport the viewer between Barcelona and some of the most beautiful and remote landscapes in Patagonia, weaving a story of mystery, action and unexpected revelations that will keep the audience on the edge of their seat.
