Both production companies and the renowned screenwriter will bring Mentiras de sangre to Spain.
Mediacrest Entertainment and Malule Entertainment, a production company founded by José Ignacio Chascas Valenzuela and Argentine producer Lucas Akoskin, have closed a deal for the renowned showrunner to develop Mentiras de Sangre in Spain. Spanning multiple seasons, the series blends intense drama with elements of action and mystery, offering a gripping tale of intrigue and complex family struggles.
Recognized by The New York Times as one of the ten best writers in Latin America, in 2005 Chascas was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the television series Amores.
His series Who Killed Sara? premiered in 2021, becoming one of the most globally watched non-English language shows on Netflix.
He has since released the hugely successful series High Heat and Sisters’ Feud, both of which also premiered on Netflix.
