GoQuest Media, an India-based content distributor, is participating for the first time at Content Americas to present new scripted formats and their flagship content. Still, they have also announced that they are entering into a partnership with production company VIP2000 TV and Stellar Yapim to co-produce a Turkish soap opera that they will bring to the Hispanic market.

Mikaela Perez, sales executive at GoQuest Media, told ttnews during Content Americas that they are happy to announce a co-production with VIP2000 TV and production company Stellar Yapim. “With them, we are going to develop a story based in India; we are very excited because it is our first Turkish production that we will bring to the market,” she said.

Kuma/The Other Wife is the Turkish drama to be developed. Through this partnership, both companies, GoQuest Media and VIP2000 TV, will distribute the IP. The production will be directed by Stellar Yapim, a leading independent Turkish film and TV production company founded by Inci Gulen Oarr, showrunner of the hit drama series Elif.

About their first foray into Content Americas, Perez said they had brought a catalog of different genres. “We will take advantage of the market to present new scripted formats, a Lebanese co-production called Love Me Not, several short series and films, which have had excellent feedback from Latino buyers,” she said.

The star content they have brought to this event is the Lebanese series Love Me Not, which tells the story of Fares, a man who returns to Syria to reopen his parents’ restaurant. However, an accusation of murder will jeopardize his love affair with Fawzi’s daughter.
