This Tuesday, January 21, Calinos Entertainment announced at Content Americas that it will be in charge of the international distribution of Piyasa – Invisible Ties, a new and highly anticipated series produced by Pastel Film, which will be broadcast on Kanal D.

“We have just signed an agreement with the production company Pastel Films from Turkey for a new title that has already started to be filmed and which we hope will be released in February, with two very popular actors internationally,” Cristina Duffy, Sales Manager of Calinos Entertainment, told ttvnews.

“It’s a story of forbidden love between two completely opposite, very different people. A man who is a young actor, a narcissist, a womanizer, who has never been in love until he meets this Turkish woman, with very traditional values, a modest family. He falls madly in love with her but it is a difficult love because of their social and cultural differences. It’s a very interesting and attractive story,” explained the executive. “We are sure that it will be very popular.”

The series features an impressive cast, including Alp Navruz, İlayda Alişan, Zuhal Olcay and Gülben Ergen, and a team known for its dedication to high-quality storytelling.

In addition, Calinos continues its commitment to Romanian dramas, presenting two great titles that are achieving great success on Antena 1.

“We have another Romanian production that has been on the air for three weeks and has been the audience leader for the three days it has been broadcast. It is called Anna, it is the story of a young orphan who needs to get a job to be able to support herself in a foster home, where they have adopted children,” explained the executive.

“Without knowing it, she ends up applying for a job in an agency where her mother is the owner. By chance, she takes a DNA test and discovers that she is her mother. The mother agrees to take the test and they discover that they are mother and daughter. From that moment on, the story develops and the ratings have been very good.”

The other great title from Romania is Love with Lavender Scent, which continues to enjoy great success in the country. “Love with Lavender Scent is a visually very attractive production, with beautiful landscapes and very beautiful protagonists. A love story between a doctor who lives with her daughter on a lavender farm, until a very famous retired ex-footballer comes to claim those lands as his own. The drama between them begins and at the same time a love story.”
